The FLATLAND project is a research on the passage from a two-dimensional world to a three-dimensional one, inspired by Edward Abbott's book Flatland (1884), where a simple fact occurs –
a 2-dimensional square perceives a 3D cube – allowing a glimpse of possible other worlds.
Here we have the first finished artwork of the series. This drawing shows a possible figure of future sculptures, but as any drawing, it flattens it, without trying to give the feeling of volume. This gives rise to new shapes and forms a duality.
